What to buy my boyfriend for his new apartment?

my boyfriend (of only 3 months, but we%26#039;ve been very close friends for about 5 years now) just bought a new apartment. he doesn%26#039;t have a ton of money and he%26#039;s furnishing it from scratch. what do you think would be a nice and appropriate gift for me to give him? i want to give something nicer than just a bottle of wine or plant, which is what i%26#039;ve read for suggestions. thank you!

What does he need? Does he have throw pillows for his couch? Or does he collect CDs and have a need for something to organize them in? Maybe he loves books - perhaps get him a nice book for his coffee table. How about a magazine subscription?





Does he need things for his kitchen? You could put together a cute basket of things for the kitchen such as dish towels, pot holders, wooden spoons, potato peeler, measuring cups and spoons...kitchen necessities that a guy might not think of buying. Or perhaps put together a basket of spices, easy to make mixes, etc. with fresh muffins (made by you of course), jams, etc. Or better yet, if he likes Italian, Mexican, whatever, put together a basket or tray with ingredients for a meal that YOU plan to cook for (or with) him.





I think you have the idea....look at what he has - what he needs and what would leave a lasting impression of you caring enough to do something personal for him.
Reply:Does he need new dishware or pots? I would go with some new supplies and cook him dinner.

Is he into sports? Get him some sports gear from his fav teams. Glasses, coasters etc

Reply:how about stocking his cabinets with food and stocking the fridge. Men have no idea what to keep,things such as mustard,mayo,catsup, pickles,then bread, lunch meat,fruit,veggies, meat for the freezer, spices for cooking,he%26#039;ll know to buy beer and a wine,but not what to put in the fridge and cabinets.
Reply:Something nice, which isn%26#039;t the first thing you would necessarily buy if you were furnishing your apartment. In other words, not essential, but to make the place more homey.





The thing is, I can%26#039;t think of an actual object that fits this description off the top of my head... It depends on what type of person your boyfriend is or what he%26#039;s interested in.

Reply:If you want to purchase something nice, try buying a comforter set or a bathroom set. This will help decorate one of the rooms.
