Non-flowering Daffodils and Tulips..?

For some reason, my daffodils have not flowered for the past two years. All they seem to do is grow the foliage. I have not cut the foliage, because I know they feed the bulb to produce flowers. Is it possible they are just done blooming? Do they do that??

I also transplanted tulips last year from a potted gift. For some reason, they didn%26#039;t bloom flowers either. I waited until fall last year to plant them, so I don%26#039;t get it..

Maybe they just need to be thinned out. Try digging them up and transplanting them in smaller groups. Be sure and use some bone meal when you plant them and make sure they aren%26#039;t to deep in the ground.
Reply:Are the deer or other wild animals in your

area eating the buds ?
Reply:I know when I transplanted iris from one part of my yard to another, the transplants were dormant for a year before they bloomed, something about the trauma of being re-planted. I would dig up one of your tulips to see what kind of condition the bulb is in. If they haven%26#039;t bloomed for two years now, you may have to plant new ones...
Reply:I%26#039;m confused as well. I suggest going to your local garden center. maybe there%26#039;s a soil problem in the area you%26#039;ve planted these! good luck w/ resolving this matter.
Reply:spread them out. they don%26#039;t have enough room to do there thing. transplant half of them, and they all should bloom the following year.
Reply:Have you tested the soil in the new planting area? Bulb benefit from bonemeal added to the soil.
