We don't know what to do??!!?

I have this thing… I don’t know if it’s a tree or a plant so we’ll just call it a thing for now. LOL It belongs to my mom, she got it as a gift and we’ve had it for 8 yrs. Around September we bring it inside because we don’t want it to die when it gets cold. Its October now and It’s too big to bring inside this year and my mom want to put it in are garage but, I want to planet it. We just don’t know what to do with it. Some one help us please!! We would love to know what it is and when is a good time to plant it, and if we even should planet it.

P.S.

I don%26#039;t know how to put a pix of it on hear but I can email you the pix of it!!

It really depends on what zone you live in. If you are in a zone which receives a hard freeze and snow, you are better to wait until spring to plant it so that it can get a good start and doesn%26#039;t go into shock. If you are in a temperate zone, you are a tad bit late, but you can still get it into the ground before the rainy season and the tree/plant will go dormant, but the roots will be hard at work underground establishing the plant. You also should get the plant identified before trying to put it in the ground so that you know its sun and soil requirements. Take a leaf to your local nursery or home improvement center so that they can tell you what you are dealing with.
Reply:Considering no one can mind read, this thing might make it outside.

Go drink a beer and post a picture.
Reply:Take it for a ride (or at least a leaf from it) and ask at a nursery what it is. They can tell you whether or not it will survive outside.
