My dad can%26#039;t emotionally handle anything beyond work.

My mom on the otherhand is superwoman extraordinare. She can do ANYTHING!!!
Reply:1. When you went out, who drove?

Dad

Comments - Mom would always stand outside the car door and wait there until my dad opened it for her. hahaha.

2. Who wrote the %26#039;thank you%26#039; notes for any gifts received?

Mom

Comments - Dad would just sign the bottom of them, if it was a gift for both of them. Dunno about gifts just for him.

3. Who did the laundry?

Mom

Comments - Dad would iron his shirts/slacks if Mom didn%26#039;t have enough time.

4. Who watered the house plants?

Mom

Comments - If dad had extra water in his glass he%26#039;d dump it in a plant going by. = )

5. Who dusted and vacuumed?

Mom

Comments - These answers seem to be Mother-dominated. haha

6. When you went on a trip, who packed the suitcases?

Both. They each packed their own.

Comments - I%26#039;d hate to see what would have happened if they packed each others! haha

7. When you went on a trip, who packed the vehicle?

Dad, or myself

Comments - Mom couldn%26#039;t get everything to fit!

1. Mother -- I don%26#039;t think my dad liked driving a whole lot.

2. Mother -- Part of it was probably to do with the fact that she just knows so many more people.

3. Mother -- Don%26#039;t think my dad knows how even to this day.

4. Father -- He likes his garden.

5. Father -- Neat freak.

6. Not sure, probably packed their own.

7. I guess it would be both but with my father leading the operation.
Reply:All of the things you listed were done by both my parents all the time. They shared equal responsibility in each item you listed. Even in the watering of house plants.
Reply:1. dad - only exception being long road trips where my mom would drive for about 30-40 minutes before my dad took back the wheel like he just couldn%26#039;t stand it anymore.

2, 3, 4, 5, 6. mom - I%26#039;m from GA and my family is very conservative/traditional.

7. dad - see comment above
