I am wondering if somebody can photoshop a photo or two for me. I would be very grateful! Details are below.

I have a few pictures of my nephew and step-nephew. There are only a handful of pictures of them together, and my step-nephew, the older child, passed away a few days ago. I would like to do something nice with one or two of the photos, perhaps on photofiddle, perhaps not, as a gift to my sister and her husband. They were taken at Disneyland, just about a week before he died. There are three photos, and I was just wondering if anyone knows how to do a few things that would make the pictures a little nicer for display. Remove other people, the bag on the bench, the handrail in front of the rock, for example. My favorite of them is the one called "brothers," but I hate the background, so maybe it could be put in front of the rock and plants of the other picture? I'm not sure what is possible and could never do it myself and cannot afford to pay anyone, so anything anyone can do to help would be great. The photos are at the link below:

Can some one translate these sonnet for me? pleaseeee ASAP?

From fairest creatures we desire increase,

That thereby beauty's rose might never die,

But as the riper should by time decease,

His tender heir might bear his memory:

But thou contracted to thine own bright eyes,

Feed'st thy light's flame with self-substantial fuel,

Making a famine where abundance lies,

Thy self thy foe, to thy sweet self too cruel:

Thou that art now the world's fresh ornament,

And only herald to the gaudy spring,

Within thine own bud buriest thy content,

And tender churl mak'st waste in niggarding:

Pity the world, or else this glutton be,

To eat the world's due, by the grave and thee.

II (Sonnet 2)

When forty winters shall besiege thy brow,

And dig deep trenches in thy beauty's field,

Thy youth's proud livery so gazed on now,

Will be a tatter'd weed of small worth held:

Then being asked, where all thy beauty lies,

Where all the treasure of thy lusty days;

To say, within thine own deep sunken eyes,

Were an all-eating shame, and thriftless praise.

How much more praise deserv'd thy beauty's use,

If thou couldst answer 'This fair child of mine

Shall sum my count, and make my old excuse,'

Proving his beauty by succession thine!

This were to be new made when thou art old,

And see thy blood warm when thou feel'st it cold.

III (Sonnet 3)

Look in thy glass and tell the face thou viewest

Now is the time that face should form another;

Whose fresh repair if now thou not renewest,

Thou dost beguile the world, unbless some mother.

For where is she so fair whose unear'd womb

Disdains the tillage of thy husbandry?

Or who is he so fond will be the tomb,

Of his self-love to stop posterity?

Thou art thy mother's glass and she in thee

Calls back the lovely April of her prime;

So thou through windows of thine age shalt see,

Despite of wrinkles this thy golden time.

But if thou live, remember'd not to be,

Die single and thine image dies with thee.

IV (Sonnet 4)

Unthrifty loveliness, why dost thou spend

Upon thy self thy beauty's legacy?

Nature's bequest gives nothing, but doth lend,

And being frank she lends to those are free:

Then, beauteous niggard, why dost thou abuse

The bounteous largess given thee to give?

Profitless usurer, why dost thou use

So great a sum of sums, yet canst not live?

For having traffic with thy self alone,

Thou of thy self thy sweet self dost deceive:

Then how when nature calls thee to be gone,

What acceptable audit canst thou leave?

Thy unused beauty must be tombed with thee,

Which, used, lives th' executor to be.

V (Sonnet 5)

Those hours, that with gentle work did frame

The lovely gaze where every eye doth dwell,

Will play the tyrants to the very same

And that unfair which fairly doth excel;

For never-resting time leads summer on

To hideous winter, and confounds him there;

Sap checked with frost, and lusty leaves quite gone,

Beauty o'er-snowed and bareness every where:

Then were not summer's distillation left,

A liquid prisoner pent in walls of glass,

Beauty's effect with beauty were bereft,

Nor it, nor no remembrance what it was:

But flowers distill'd, though they with winter meet,

Leese but their show; their substance still lives sweet.

VI (Sonnet 6)

Then let not winter's ragged hand deface,

In thee thy summer, ere thou be distill'd:

Make sweet some vial; treasure thou some place

With beauty's treasure ere it be self-kill'd.

That use is not forbidden usury,

Which happies those that pay the willing loan;

That's for thy self to breed another thee,

Or ten times happier, be it ten for one;

Ten times thy self were happier than thou art,

If ten of thine ten times refigur'd thee:

Then what could death do if thou shouldst depart,

Leaving thee living in posterity?

Be not self-will'd, for thou art much too fair

To be death's conquest and make worms thine heir.

VII (Sonnet 7)

Lo! in the orient when the gracious light

Lifts up his burning head, each under eye

Doth homage to his new-appearing sight,

Serving with looks his sacred majesty;

And having climb'd the steep-up heavenly hill,

Resembling strong youth in his middle age,

Yet mortal looks adore his beauty still,

Attending on his golden pilgrimage:

But when from highmost pitch, with weary car,

Like feeble age, he reeleth from the day,

The eyes, 'fore duteous, now converted are

From his low tract, and look another way:

So thou, thyself outgoing in thy noon:

Unlook'd, on diest unless thou get a son.

VIII (Sonnet 8)

Music to hear, why hear'st thou music sadly?

Sweets with sweets war not, joy delights in joy:

Why lov'st thou that which thou receiv'st not gladly,

Or else receiv'st with pleasure thine annoy?

If the true concord of well-tuned sounds,

By unions married, do offend thine ear,

They do but sweetly chide thee, who confounds

In singleness the parts that thou shouldst bear.

Mark how one string, sweet husband to another,

Strikes each in each by mutual ordering;

Resembling sire and child and happy mother,

Who, all in one, one pleasing note do sing:

Whose speechless song being many, seeming one,

Sings this to thee: 'Thou single wilt prove none.'

IX (Sonnet 9)

Is it for fear to wet a widow's eye,

That thou consum'st thy self in single life?

Ah! if thou issueless shalt hap to die,

The world will wail thee like a makeless wife;

The world will be thy widow and still weep

That thou no form of thee hast left behind,

When every private widow well may keep

By children's eyes, her husband's shape in mind:

Look! what an unthrift in the world doth spend

Shifts but his place, for still the world enjoys it;

But beauty's waste hath in the world an end,

And kept unused the user so destroys it.

No love toward others in that bosom sits

That on himself such murd'rous shame commits.

X (Sonnet 10)

For shame! deny that thou bear'st love to any,

Who for thy self art so unprovident.

Grant, if thou wilt, thou art belov'd of many,

But that thou none lov'st is most evident:

For thou art so possess'd with murderous hate,

That 'gainst thy self thou stick'st not to conspire,

Seeking that beauteous roof to ruinate

Which to repair should be thy chief desire.

O! change thy thought, that I may change my mind:

Shall hate be fairer lodg'd than gentle love?

Be, as thy presence is, gracious and kind,

Or to thyself at least kind-hearted prove:

Make thee another self for love of me,

That beauty still may live in thine or thee.

XI (Sonnet 11)

As fast as thou shalt wane, so fast thou grow'st,

In one of thine, from that which thou departest;

And that fresh blood which youngly thou bestow'st,

Thou mayst call thine when thou from youth convertest,

Herein lives wisdom, beauty, and increase;

Without this folly, age, and cold decay:

If all were minded so, the times should cease

And threescore year would make the world away.

Let those whom nature hath not made for store,

Harsh, featureless, and rude, barrenly perish:

Look, whom she best endow'd, she gave thee more;

Which bounteous gift thou shouldst in bounty cherish:

She carv'd thee for her seal, and meant thereby,

Thou shouldst print more, not let that copy die.

XII (Sonnet 12)

When I do count the clock that tells the time,

And see the brave day sunk in hideous night;

When I behold the violet past prime,

And sable curls, all silvered o'er with white;

When lofty trees I see barren of leaves,

Which erst from heat did canopy the herd,

And summer's green all girded up in sheaves,

Borne on the bier with white and bristly beard,

Then of thy beauty do I question make,

That thou among the wastes of time must go,

Since sweets and beauties do themselves forsake

And die as fast as they see others grow;

And nothing 'gainst Time's scythe can make defence

Save breed, to brave him when he takes thee hence.

XIII (Sonnet 13)

O! that you were your self; but, love you are

No longer yours, than you your self here live:

Against this coming end you should prepare,

And your sweet semblance to some other give:

So should that beauty which you hold in lease

Find no determination; then you were

Yourself again, after yourself's decease,

When your sweet issue your sweet form should bear.

Who lets so fair a house fall to decay,

Which husbandry in honour might uphold,

Against the stormy gusts of winter's day

And barren rage of death's eternal cold?

O! none but unthrifts. Dear my love, you know,

You had a father: let your son say so.

XIV (Sonnet 14)

Not from the stars do I my judgement pluck;

And yet methinks I have astronomy,

But not to tell of good or evil luck,

Of plagues, of dearths, or seasons' quality;

Nor can I fortune to brief minutes tell,

Pointing to each his thunder, rain and wind,

Or say with princes if it shall go well

By oft predict that I in heaven find:

But from thine eyes my knowledge I derive,

And constant stars in them I read such art

As 'Truth and beauty shall together thrive,

If from thyself, to store thou wouldst convert';

Or else of thee this I prognosticate:

'Thy end is truth's and beauty's doom and date.'

XV (Sonnet 15)

When I consider every thing that grows

Holds in perfection but a little moment,

That this huge stage presenteth nought but shows

Whereon the stars in secret influence comment;

When I perceive that men as plants increase,

Cheered and checked even by the self-same sky,

Vaunt in their youthful sap, at height decrease,

And wear their brave state out of memory;

Then the conceit of this inconstant stay

Sets you most rich in youth before my sight,

Where wasteful Time debateth with decay

To change your day of youth to sullied night,

And all in war with Time for love of you,

As he takes from you, I engraft you new.

XVI (Sonnet 16)

But wherefore do not you a mightier way

Make war upon this bloody tyrant, Time?

And fortify your self in your decay

With means more blessed than my barren rhyme?

Now stand you on the top of happy hours,

And many maiden gardens, yet unset,

With virtuous wish would bear you living flowers,

Much liker than your painted counterfeit:

So should the lines of life that life repair,

Which this, Time's pencil, or my pupil pen,

Neither in inward worth nor outward fair,

Can make you live your self in eyes of men.

To give away yourself, keeps yourself still,

And you must live, drawn by your own sweet skill.

XVII (Sonnet 17)

Who will believe my verse in time to come,

If it were fill'd with your most high deserts?

Though yet heaven knows it is but as a tomb

Which hides your life, and shows not half your parts.

If I could write the beauty of your eyes,

And in fresh numbers number all your graces,

The age to come would say 'This poet lies;

Such heavenly touches ne'er touch'd earthly faces.'

So should my papers, yellow'd with their age,

Be scorn'd, like old men of less truth than tongue,

And your true rights be term'd a poet's rage

And stretched metre of an antique song:

But were some child of yours alive that time,

You should live twice,--in it, and in my rhyme.

XVIII (Sonnet 18)

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?

Thou art more lovely and more temperate:

Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,

And summer's lease hath all too short a date:

Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,

And often is his gold complexion dimm'd,

And every fair from fair sometime declines,

By chance, or nature's changing course untrimm'd:

But thy eternal summer shall not fade,

Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st,

Nor shall death brag thou wander'st in his shade,

When in eternal lines to time thou grow'st,

So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see,

So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.

XIX (Sonnet 19)

Devouring Time, blunt thou the lion's paws,

And make the earth devour her own sweet brood;

Pluck the keen teeth from the fierce tiger's jaws,

And burn the long-liv'd phoenix, in her blood;

Make glad and sorry seasons as thou fleets,

And do whate'er thou wilt, swift-footed Time,

To the wide world and all her fading sweets;

But I forbid thee one most heinous crime:

O! carve not with thy hours my love's fair brow,

Nor draw no lines there with thine antique pen;

Him in thy course untainted do allow

For beauty's pattern to succeeding men.

Yet, do thy worst old Time: despite thy wrong,

My love shall in my verse ever live young.

XX (Sonnet 20)

A woman's face with nature's own hand painted,

Hast thou, the master mistress of my passion;

A woman's gentle heart, but not acquainted

With shifting change, as is false women's fashion:

An eye more bright than theirs, less false in rolling,

Gilding the object whereupon it gazeth;

A man in hue all 'hues' in his controlling,

Which steals men's eyes and women's souls amazeth.

And for a woman wert thou first created;

Till Nature, as she wrought thee, fell a-doting,

And by addition me of thee defeated,

By adding one thing to my purpose nothing.

But since she prick'd thee out for women's pleasure,

Mine be thy love and thy love's use their treasure.

Reply:Interview different grocery stores in your area, and ask them what they do to keep their shopping carts clean. Do an experiment and swab a shopping cart from each grocery store you interviewed. Add this bacterial swab to a plate of nutrient agar. Let it sit and grow for about a week, observing its growth for the days that it does grow.

Can anyone identify this palm tree?

My mother received it as a gift, but she just left it on her back porch and ignored it. I'd like to know what kind it is and how big it would grow if kept in the pot versus planting it. Please let me know what kind of care it needs!

Can anyone identify this palm tree?
i believe that is a Sago Palm..they are Very popular here in South Texas.

Height: 6+ feet //They do spread considerably as well. They keep very circular As i have seen here. So a good 4' plant was a about 4' wide as well

Soil requirements: Quick draining sandy soil.

Sun Requirements: Full sun - strong filtered light

Other Notes:

"This is actually a cycad and not a palm at all. It is a great plant for sunny dry and compact areas. Does not require much care. Great addition to most gardens."

//These are very nice I was thinking of getting some myself from a nursery. They are evergreen and love the heat. Perfect for our hot summers. I imagine it won't grow as fast in a pot. That doesn't mean it won't try to eventually. If you have the space somewhere give it a nice sunny spot so you can really enjoy it
Reply:sago palm cut off the dead parts to keep the rest of it healthy
Reply:Hi:

I agree with the others and it looks like a Sago Palm. Sago palms are more cold hardy then other palms. It will do well in zones seven through ten in the United States. In zone seven people bring their Sago into shelter when there are cold spells.

Palms should have some sand in the soil and you can also mix it with some good light weight potting soil Add some organic mushroom compost to the soil. This is a great organic fertilizer that will last up to one year. Keep the plant moist but don't over water.

I will be doing a page in the next week on different palms on my website. I will link you to my site map as this page has everything that is on the website. Browse through this section and see if you can find anything that will help you. If you like tropical plants, I will also link you to the tropic section, as this has some plants that do well in sub - tropical and tropical locations.

Good luck to you and if you want more information on different palm trees, check out the site in the next week. I just got back from Fort Myers, Florida and got some nice shots on a variety of palm trees. If you need further help on any landscape project, please feel free to contact me. Have a great day!

Reply:KING SAGO!

I love these "palm" trees..they dont grow fast, and do well in pots. I would be careful with it in cold conditions, I grew these with ease in california--no frost! Now living in Idaho-my potted sago looks like yours! Brown leaves..ouch. They do not do well in cold climates, I dont care what the others are saying. Keep it in a pot, and move it into your garage during the winter time--expose it to as much sun as you can find--they make sago palm food for them, try it. I cut off the dead leaves and seems to do fine with new growth. They will mold if you water them too much, Ive been told you need to let the soil dry out before the next watering-once a week is good.
Reply:that is a sago palm. it actually isnt a palm tree but a cycad. tey are very easy to grow. all they need is some water and occasional plant food. one of my fav palms cold hardy to 15 degrees in the ground and 25 in a pot
Reply:Sago Palm. When they are small it is common to see them in pots but as they get some size on them move them to the ground.

If you don't live in the deep south (zones 8, 9 %26amp; 10), you may want to leave it in a pot--it will grow slower in the pot.
Reply:Yep...it's a Sago Palm. It's actually a pretty cold hardy palm that can withstand temps to as low as around 10 degrees for short periods of time. It is fairly slow growing, shouldn't outgrow that pot for some time

What to get for my dad for Christmas?

Part of my gift is a cd im burning for him of his favorite rock songs, but i want to get him something else.

He owns a landscape company and loves gardening/plants, he's kind of forgetful, likes Orchard Supply Hardware (hes a good handy-man), and likes to cook/barbecue. Any suggestions? Thanks!

What to get for my dad for Christmas?
Your dad sounds like my dad (mine also owns a lanscaping business and we call him "Mr. Fix-It"). Anywho, I think as one of my dad's gifts I am going to get him an herb garden starter kit.
Reply:Well i would get him a book of allotments or a new steel barbeque

if he needs it maybe some aftershave

i would recomend lacoste, joop! or ted baker
Reply:Get him a cool apron, a barbacue cleaner, wrench set, work shirt, etc.
Reply:Can you remember any anything from the past that your dad may have mentioned that he enjoyed? As long as what you give him comes from the heart you can't go wrong. Sometimes it's the smallest things that makes the difference.

I have a really big problem in oblivion can anyone help?

Well,

i finished all the Dark Brotherhood mission for that vampire leader.

He offered me a dark gift and i accepted.

i really need a vampire cure.

its very hard to do missions when you gotta be a sun freak.

i went to skin grad and no one would talk to me and i couldnt find the count.

i tried to go to that other dude at arcane university.

But i just remembered i had to collect these ingridients.

Because i got suspended.

But i dont know where to find theese plants.

There called dragon's tongue and redwart flowers

I have to gather 20 of each but some people say only get 20 of one ingridient, and hell take you back in/

is this true?

Please tell me how to find these strange ingridients to pay my dept to the guild and rid myself of this dreaded vampire curse.

I have a really big problem in oblivion can anyone help?
The Count of Skingrad is the only one who will tell you how to cure yourself. Break into somebodies house at night and feed on them. Then go to skingrad and talk to one of his stewards (Hal-liurz i think his name is) they should be walking around the main castle lobby area thingy. Ask for the count, know this. The quest is pretty hard to do and you'll need a few high end soul gems. Raminus Polus can only tell you that the count might know something.

EDIT: I uploaded my version of the guide into this page.

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Cure_V...
Reply:Yes,if you find the ingredients they will let you back in. Unfortunately this is not an easy task. Dragons tongue can be found near Fort redwater along the black marsh boarder. You can also find them in the wilderness northeast of Leyawiin. Just look for clusters of bright yellow flowers. The highest concentration of redwort flowers is located southeast of fieldhouse cave near Leyawiin also by the black marsh boarder. Also try the Ayleid ruins of Wendelbek and Morahame both located near Niben Bay along the Panther river.

SCIENCE?! :] please read?

well im in 8th grade and in Gifted/Talented Science. I need a topic that is CHALLENGING to get an "A", and not very common. my teacher didn't like the one i presented because it has been done a lot. It can't involve plants or living things other than humans. any ideas? thanks :]

23 hours ago - 3 days left to answer.

Additional Details

um and also i can't just research something. i have to experiment, and the data can't be too subjective.

oh yeah and this project determines whether my teacher is going to recomment me for GT science in high school so it has to be impressive.

SCIENCE?! :] please read?
You could try to do something involved in the environment

such as

Effects of global warming

Alternative energy sources

-Ethanol - How it works (kinda a plant thing tho)

-Nuclear - why there are no CO2 emissions

-How a hybrid car works

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about these topics and I can help with finding information if you like
Reply:Use GPS to gather location and altitude data. Solve the problems of human sensing of heart rate and respiration and get them into a small computer via bluetooth along with the GPS data. Correlate the sets of data for people of various ages walking, running, or biking in an area with various changes of altitude over varying distance.

Figure out how you would use what you have developed to record information on pulling or carrying loads by people.

Take the idea and work with machinery to measure loads and horsepower - a self propelled mower pulling a trailer on various surfaces (grass, mud, dirt, pavement) and various slopes.

Why do most baptize in Father Son and Holy Ghost When it says be baptized in Jesus name Just seems obvious?

First, because it is apostolic in origin and practice. (Acts 2:38; Acts 4:12; 14-18: Acts 19:1-6) It is agreed by Bible students that the apostles are the founders and the foundation of the Church; Jesus Christ being the chief corner stone. That is to say, their teachings and doctrines are the fundamental principles upon which the church is built. Jesus in the days of His flesh taught His disciples the plan of salvation, opening their understanding and making them to know the mysteries of the Kingdom. He said, Thus it behooved Christ to suffer and to rise, from the dead the third day; and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in HIS NAME. Thus the apostles obeyed the command of Jesus in Luke 24:46-47, where He said that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name, among all nations beginning at Jerusalem. Thus the apostles, in obedience to the command of Jesus, became the originators of baptizing in the name of Jesus Christ. Baptizing in the name of Jesus Christ is apostolic, not in origin only, but in practice, for no other mode of baptism is to be found in the New Testament. Upwards of one hundred years after Pentecost, believers were baptized only in the name Jesus Christ, for the remission of sins. All other modes and methods of baptism have arisen since and not in the days of apostles.

Second reason, Because we are exhorted to believe, to obey and follow the teachings of the apostles, Hebrews 2:1-5; Acts 2:38-43; Col. 2:3-9. Jesus told the apostles, that he rejecteth thee rejecteth me. Moreover, He prayed that we should believe in Him through their, the apostles’ words, St. John 17:20. Paul said in the second chapter of Hebrews, verses 1-5, that we should give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard lest at any time we should let them slip. The gospel that was preached by the apostles was according to the will of God, for God confirmed it with signs and wonders as if to say to us, Amen, follow as they have taught.

The saints on the day of Pentecost set us an example that we should follow in their steps. In the second chapter of Acts, verses 38-43 we read that they who gladly received his word, were baptized and they continued in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship; great fear came upon all the people and many wonders were done by the apostles. Jesus said unto Peter: "Upon this rock I will build My church and the very gates of hell shall not prevail against it"

Third reason- WE DO NOT BELIEVE THAT THE THREE COMMISSIONS CONTRADICT EACH OTHER, Matt 28:19; Luke 24:45-48; Mark 16:15-19. We hold that there is no discrepancy in God’s word, therefore we believe that the three commissions all mean the same thing and all meet their fulfillment in Acts 2:38, where Peter said "Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remissions of sins." All three commissions are given by the same person and all three mean the same thing. Matt 28:19 says, "Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost." Notice, He said not baptize them in the Father and Son and Holy Ghost, but in the name of the Father and of the Son and Holy Ghost. What is the name ? And again, He did not say names as if more than one (plural), but NAME of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost in Matt 28:19 and in MY NAME in Mark 16:15-18, and HIS NAME in Luke 24:47 all mean the same name JESUS CHRIST. "For neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved." Acts 4:12.

Fourth reason- BECAUSE TO PUT ON CHRIST WE MUST BE BAPTIZED IN HIS DEATH AND BURIAL, Romans 6:3-6; John 3:5; Acts 2:38. We are all children of God by faith in Christ Jesus, for as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. Gal. 3:26-27. If the above Scripture is true, then the only way we can put on Christ is to be baptized into Him. Now the above has reference to the baptism of the Spirit which puts you into the spiritual Body of Christ, but pray, how shall we receive the baptism of the spirit? Peter beautifully answered that question on the day of Pentecost Acts 2:38, "Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost".

We identified ourselves with Christ in His death (Conversion), burial (Baptism -- 3 of water), resurrection (Baptism of the Holy Ghost), Hallelujah! Know ye not that so many of us were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His death? Therefore we are buried by Baptism onto death. "For if we have been planted together in the likeness of His death we shall be in the likeness of His resurrection." Romans 6:3-6. The mode of sprinkling people for baptism was never the practice of the apostles and has no foundation in Holy Writ. Jesus said, "Except a man be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom." Now to be born of things you must first be conceived, and that which is conceived is covered or hidden. Then to be born of water one must be conceived of water which cannot be unless one is immersed and then born from- Amen.

Fifth reason- BECAUSE WE ARE SAVE BY BELIEVING IN AND ON HIS NAME, I John 2:12; Proverbs 18:10; Acts 4:12. "The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous runneth into it and are safe." I write unto you little children, because your sins are forgiven you for His name’s sake. We are saved not because of our righteousness nor praying or faith or works; these are conducive to salvation, but not because of these things we are saved, but for His Name’s sake. From time immemorial God proposed to make for Himself a mighty name. Isa. 64:12, and in our time He has made the name of Jesus high over all the earth, and the sea and sky, yea it is above every name. Today God wants us to exalt the mighty name of Jesus. Whatever we do in word or deed, do it in Jesus’ name.

Sixth reason- FATHER IS NOT A PROPER NAME, NOR SON, NOR HOLY GHOST. Father expresses a relationship, also Son; and the Holy Ghost means the Holy Spirit, but does not mean His name but his nature. Holy is an adjective, meaning more excellence, pure in heart, and Spirit is a noun but not a proper name. So that they who baptize in the formula by saying the following words: "I baptize you in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost, do not baptize in any name at all. There are many fathers and sons, but what father and son’s name do they baptize in, seeing they do not designate? For this reason the Lord Jesus told the apostles not to depart out of Jerusalem, but wait for the Spirit of Truth who would lead them into all truth, and bring all things to their remembrance whatsoever He had spoken to them. When the Holy Ghost came of the day of Pentecost He brought to the minds and hearts of the apostles what the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost was; and when the people asked, what shall we do? Peter answered, "Repent and be baptized everyone of you in the NAME OF JESUS CHRIST,", The Name Jesus Christ is the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Ghost.

Why do most baptize in Father Son and Holy Ghost When it says be baptized in Jesus name Just seems obvious?
This comes from Jesus own words in Matthew 28:18-19:

Then Jesus approached and said to them, "All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit.

With love in Christ.
Reply:In Matthew 28:19 it says "baptizing them in the NAME of the father, and of the son and of the Holy Ghost" Notice how it is singular and does not say in the names but name. And what is that one name? JESUS is that name! Report It

Reply:Jesus and God(the father) and the Holy Spirit are all the same body...They are but one entity... Report It

Reply:Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? rom 6:3. so if baptized in the name of Jesus Christ then this verse makes since. Report It

Reply:make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit.

What is not being considered is Father, Son, and Holy spirit are all titles when they say the name the bible mean Jesus Report It

Reply:One God, three offices = Jesus

Is Jesus in the Godhead? Or is the Godhead in Jesus?

Reply:couldnt you have just summed all that up in a paragraph? i dont think anyone will read all that
Reply:I read the scriptures to which you referred and you are correct, in the book of Acts the apostles baptized in the name of Jesus. They didn't say "In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit". A lot of churches do baptize in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit -- BELIEVING that the name into whom they are baptizing is JESUS CHRIST. We believe in his name, and we believe that in baptism we are buried as unto his death and raised again. We believe in the name of Jesus before we are baptized. You must remember the prisoner who was condemned to die and hung on the cross next to Jesus when he asked Christ to come into his heart. He wasn't baptized but the Lord said that he would be with him in paradise. When a person comes to Jesus and is baptized, they believe in His name, and there is no other name into which they are being baptized. I praise Jesus and I thank him for being the Lord of my life. Please don't try to discourage people to make them start doubting into whose name they are being baptized. If they believe in Jesus then it is into his name that they are being baptized.
Reply:The father son and holy ghost, father God Jesus son and the spirit of God holy ghost that's on the earth, the trinity- three sides father son and holy ghost..... you connect with one, you have connected with all three. Jesus in the father and the father in Jesus and the holy spirit within. just Jesus would be fine, either way, there's more play there then people think.
Reply:THANK YOU JESUS FOR THIS PERSON BEING BOLD ENOUGH TO TELL IT LIKE IT IS . PEOPLE DO NOT WANT TO READ THE BIBLE FOR THEM SELF THEY WANT TO BELIVE ANY THING A PREACHER TELLS THEM
Reply:I am not going to read your sermon I have heard this discussed repeatedly, But being Baptized in the Father Son . And holy spirit is Biblical, I know you know where it is, But I would not say in the Name of Jesus will not work.

Getting to ceremonious about how what when and where is not necessary to Please God, it is your Faith that pleases God and with out faith you cannot please God, Abraham was Justified by faith, never heard of baptism.
Reply:Thank you for sharing this info.

Reply:Another one with a rant. Reported.
Reply:The Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost are all the same God. They are 3 seperate persons in the one God Head. They are inseparable. One does not act or do without the other 2. The 1 Tri-une God is all powerful.You are right in saying that people should be baptized in Jesus name. For there is no other name

Some Questions...for the smart people..lol?
OK, looks like you need a little help figuring out what they are wanting. So I will help you figure it out.

1) The demonstrative pronoun is a pronoun distinctly designating that to which it refers. So what are referring to? The book, right? So what word refers to it?

2) A linking verb and helping very are basically the same, so those are ruled out.

Intransitive verb - A verb that does not need a direct object to complete its meaning.

Transitive verb - A verb that needs a direct object to complete its meaning. Now look at the sentence. What is the verb? What is the object of the verb? So what do you have?

3) An indirect object is the word in a sentence which stands for the person or thing to or for whom something is given.

4) A predicate nominative is a noun or pronoun that follows a linking verb and refers to the same person or thing as the subject of the verb. William Shakespeare was what? What is the predicate nominative? The part of the sentence that tells what else Shakespeare was.

5) A predicate adjective is an adjective used in the predicate.

6) What describes the word chicken? If you are looking for the word 'chicken' what is the adjective describing it?

7)What word is describing outside?

8) An adjective phrase is a group of words including an adjective and its complements or modifiers that functions as an adjective, as "too openly critical of the administration."

Now you know how to do these so you will not fail the next test. :-)

What do you think about this?
Personally, I would be concerned about the imminent punishment, the LORD looks upon our works and says,

'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'

37"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'

40"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'

41"Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.'

44"They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?'

45"He will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.'

46"Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."

Mercy on all people is what the LORD requires.

Do you have favoritism in the workplace?

this girl, who likes to be called "princessa" (ugh) thinks she's God's gift to the world, calls out sick, comes in late, and because she's the owner's niece, gets special treatment. i'd like to give her some special treatment. which do you suggest:

A. planting meth in her purse, and dropping the dime

B. purple nurple

C. donkey or falcon punch

Do you have favoritism in the workplace?
OMG! There was a girl like that at my work as well. She was the bosses niece and demanded that we call her 'Bosses Niece' so we would know where she stood. After a few weeks of painting her toenails on my lunch hour I decided something had to be done. I waited outside her house in a rental van and when she came back from dinner with her husband I sprayed them with mace and threw her in the back of the can. I drove out to a remote location wear I had dug a deep hole. I simply threw her in a covered her up. It was surprisingly easy and efficient. My new boss in name Daryl and he buys us donuts on Fridays!
Reply:Oh, oh, can we choose all of the above? Sounds like she deserves all of the above! That *****. hehehe...
Reply:Although personally I like the idea of A., I'm still not sure what a falcon punch is... so I choose C. only if you come back and tell us what happened.
Reply:As you have described me and my work ethic perfectly, I feel confident in choosing A. At least that's what I would want. Minus the dropping the dime part, of course.

For the racist people?

i gotta say, every question in cultures and groups is about or relating to black people. are we that famous???

anyway this is 4 them racist peoples who say things like:

we dont need them niggros in america

why cant they jus go back to their mud huts

it goes on n on...

so let me ask, if you white people dont need the africans, why did you bring them here then?

who planted your peoples food?

who broke sweat for your people to survive day-to-day?

who carried your white people around?

it goes on....

i also gotta say, africa dont got mud huts everywhere, theres normal houses, matter fact better houses and space in africa. water, electricity, cars, money is all there.

so why did the white people enslave africans?

coz africans are by far the most naturally gifted physically.

the white people had the idea for america, but who did the job?

and for them people saying africans are nothing, wheres egypt? the first civilization

For the racist people?
Preach, brotha preach!!! I agree with you completely, I thank you for clearing the whole situation by telling racist people that they shouldn't disrespect us like this b/c our freakin ancestors did alll of the work. Your a very smart person!!!

By the way. Kurt shut the heck up, I hope you marry a black person!!!!!!!!!
Reply:not again ... same old stuff, all that you say might be true but thats the way the world was back then .... a hell of a lot has changed over the 300years since except one ..... you whingers that can't move on , if you stopped this and put your energy into making a better life for your selves then it would be great.... after all the blacks have had the vote for such a long time and they have done nothing with it .... they won't even vote for one of their own (same as the females who whinge ).... so if you think I am going to say sorry for what was the norm back then ... think again... get a life and move on
Reply:I comepletly agree with you. White people were lazy and yet they call us lazy? ....... How hard was it to do their own labor honestly. They were the only race to enslave another human race. Its so weird that everyone gives praise to white people but, they have the worst background in history. That is inhuan to own another human. How could a race do that. And for the whites on this thread who are still saying that we dont need you anymore and get over it. Why dont you try reading about slavery and put yourselves in the minorities shoes. Were us minorities the one to capture you from your land tottally minding their own buisness? Were us minorities the one that enslaved? .....I dont think so. We are obviously needed in America (which is NOT your country) you guys took this land from the Native Americans too.,
Reply:White people (back then) where extremely lazy and refused to work. Africa had a very high amount of natural resources which could not be left alone by greedy people.
Reply:Check your history a little closer, your own people sold their own tribesmen into slavery. So get off the high horse and quit blaming the whites only. Blacks had a hand in this too.
Reply:People are stupid. Besides African Americans, Hispanics and Asians were also brought here to work. Thanks for posting this up. Now, I wanna hear something from those racist kids. I bet they have nothing good to say.

Note: The racist kids could be from ANY races.
Reply:mr lovalova, Big Daddy is right, your own people, the African kings of the villages, sold the useless, but physically fit Africans to the Dutch as trade bait

And, your people didn't plant anything for my people's

My family have been farming for hundreds of years, even back in Europe, so maybe it is you who spews racist comments, without the least bit of accurate knowledge, relating to the history
Reply:i cant be live that there is still racist, people, if i would get 1 wish, i would wish that people would treat each other the same
Reply:WHY do you bother? It doesn't matter what you say, it won't get throught their heads. Look at the first answer by Audrey, for example...Some people are ignorant and that, unfortunately, will NEVER change.
Reply:A-MEN TO THAT!!!!!!!!!!

And africans did not engineer the pyramids.

Afro-centric history is funnier than the Three Stooges.

Reply:Hahaha! Your imitation of them, was priceless.

And it's no suprise that they imagine Africa to be full of mud huts and camels only--not cars. I mean they just talk and don't research, before saying something like it's a fact.
Reply:If you really want an answer on why many people hate black people .. it is because of things like:

"who planted your peoples food?"

"africa dont got mud huts ..."

"coz africans ..."

learn how to speak somewhat properly and you will be amazed on how differently people will treat you
Reply:That was deep man you should write that down.

Why do we make life so difficult and hard ?

To be given life is the ultimate gift. When we are first born we have the right to cry or laugh. When we grow up we have the freedom to choose the way we want to be. Humans were born with rights equal to every other living thing but because of our unlimited desire human life is often of less quality than most other animals.

A small bird wakes up early in the morning singing a song waking the other birds, merrily looking for food, spending a short time to get all the bugs and grain she needs to fill her small stomach, then spending the rest of her time playing, singing, and courting. She spends a few days to build her beautiful nest. She doesn?t work too much to get the food she needs everyday. Her life is easy. She has a lot of time to play and enjoy living together with the other birds.

Humans have small stomachs as birds do. Just to have enough to eat we too do not have to work a lot in one day. If we want to build a house, we can build one in a few weeks. We can then have a lot of free-time in our life to play and enjoy life together as well. Now days people choose to work very hard, at least 8 hours per day. They work like machines just to have some food to eat even though the food they eat is not good quality. They eat the old plants and animals that have been dead many months in a can or in frozen packages. They have to live in a crowded house like a termite. If they want their own house they have to spend at least one half of their life or maybe all of their life to work for that house. Life is busy and hectic all the time.

We can see only complications with no space for beauty and freedom. We create suffering for ourselves because we don?t know the purpose of life. We are blinded and our soul turns to darkness. We can?t see beauty. We can?t enjoy living. We have only fear growing in our minds everyday. We begin to distrust other people. We cannot be friends with others around us, even relatives or family members. Our lives are lonely, even though the world is full of people. Even though we have a lot of material goods and wealth we still feel like it?s not enough. Even thought other people give us love, we still don?t trust them. We are even disturbed by the rooster?s morning call and we?re proud to say in the middle of this confusion and suffering that this is development and we are civilized.

Why do humans choose to live their life in a difficult and complicated life like this? What do we receive from our hard work all our life? Why is the simple and peaceful way not attractive to people? Life is easy, why do we make it hard?

If we think we are the most clever animal in the world, why do we make our life full of bitterness and suffering more than any other animal? Why do we have to work harder than other animals? Why do we make our lives so boring? Why don?t we have time for our kids and family or even time for ourselves? These are the instincts of all life. In 24 hours we spend more than 10 hours struggling with what we call work or said nicely, ?making a living?. We spend on average less than 8 hours sleeping and 2.5 hours a day eating, maybe .5-1 hour bathing/dressing. This leaves 3 hours left for ourselves and our family in our day. Mostly we spend this time intoxicating ourselves with entertainment such as drinking, going to parties, shopping, watching movies or watching TV. Even on our day off we love to spend the time on entertainment. We don?t see the importance of spending time with family or ourselves because we think we don?t have time. So we are not different from machines or robots because we have lost our heart and soul.

Our kids are like our pets. We take care of them enough to feed them and keep them safe but we neglect to think about their mind and soul. Kids want to be loved and cared for and to feel close to their parents but we think it?s a burden so we push them away by sending them to pre-school. Then we appease ourselves by telling ourselves we?ve done the best by them by giving them good food and expensive schooling so we can have more time to give to working and we can tell ourselves that we work for our kids. But we don?t know if the kids want what we give them or not. We assume we have given the best to them. If the kids know how to compare, they must be jealous of other animals like ducks seeing their whole family playing and looking for food together. But to be born as a human kid is so lonely. They become orphaned even though they have parents. They spend more time with strangers than their parents.

We are losing our instincts. We are destroying the system of life which our ancestors developed and lived successfully with for many thousands of years. Now we become the only animals that work this hard. Even in the past people didn?t work as hard or long as they do now except slaves and prisoners. What made people see slavery as progress or development? What is the reason people choose to live like this? Life is easy, why do we choose to make it so hard and complicated? What makes us think life has no choice when in fact we have a lot of choice?

Why do we make life so difficult and hard ?
You chose it amd you make it that way.

Birds do not spend their morning "merrily looking for bugs" and being content once their stomach is full. They eat all the time, their metabolism is very high so they have to constantly eat.

Reply:Life isn't hard. Life isn't always "fair". Life is what it is and nothing more. If you chose to make it hard then it is. If you chose to go with the flow, life is much easier.

Think positive for a change.
Reply:Your question is like asking, "what is everyone's favortie color?" Life is us and we are life (obviously you say). We hear constantly, "life is what we make of it." Also an obvious statement. The word obvious: easily seen, recognized, or understood; open to view or knowledge;Therefore what is obvious in natural sight sight is blind to those whom are stuck to physical realities of pleasure. This what make life hard because life teaches if you try to depart from it. A hard life is home sickness.

life is simple if you choose to be simple.

people like a complicated life for various reasons: because the others are like that; to prove to themselves and others they can; they dont know anything else; they are afraid to try smth else etc.

i dont think life was simpler or easier in the past. it was complicated since we got where we are today.

if you want a change u have to start with yourself. what do you want?

I agree with u , flowers is alive things . Ham kisiko flowers gift me dete hai , wo thode time tak achaa lagta hai , fir uske baad usko ek kone me fek dete hai . yaha pe flowers ki koi value nahi hai , flowers ki asli value bhagwan ke charano me hai .flowers ki khushbu mahesus karne ke liye usko dali se todana jaruri nahi hai . apani filling dikhane keliye flowers ki khubsuerati mar nahi sakate. ham apane swarth ke liye dosaro ki jaan nahi le sakte.flowers khud marake bhi khushbu bikhar te hai ,unse hame sabak le na chahia , kisi ki kabar par hame khusiyo ka mahal nahi banana chahia .apani fillings dekhane ke or bhi raste hai .

Thanks for pinpointing the fact.

According to me, Flowers are a sign of showing love,by showing cruelty to flower itself.

There are many other options to show love, Love can be expressed with just a good deed. Plucking flowers is not a good deed.

Even i too loves Flower very much but i hate plucking one.

There are many simple things which can change life and its perspective.

I am proud to say, you are the one among them preet, Who believes in sharing knowledge and awaring people,whenever and wherever it is possible.
Reply:I have always like the impermanance of fresh cut flowers. I don't like the long term commitment of a plant, always reqiring watering and whatnot, my kids and hubsband take all my TLC, but the fresh cut flowers lend a sense of beauty and brightness to a room, and when they whither, I chuck 'em.
Reply:I love fresh-cut flowers. I don't think of them as "dead". I always have several bouquets throughout my house along with my plants.

However, my mother would agree with you. She hates fresh-cut flowers and much prefers to receive a live plant as a gift. She refuses to have fresh-cut flowers in her home.

Dying baby burp clothes and onesies...?

I would like to dye burp cloths and onesies for a baby shower gift. I am assuming RIT dye would not be a good choice to use as they could be too harsh for a baby. Any thoughts on how to go about this?? I have never made natural dyes from plants and teas, but would be interested if anyone knows about this. Thank you.

Dying baby burp clothes and onesies...?
koolaid would totally work
Reply:RIT dye would work just wash everything before giving it as a gift. (Hint: after washing run your washer without clothes to make sure there is no dye left) There are natural dyes you can buy and some plants you can use. I have a resource book but do an on line search.
Reply:By the way, it should be spelled "dyeing". "Dying" means kicking the bucket, shuffling off this mortal coil, etc. It makes your question look alarming.
Reply:I wouldn't use any dyes, babies skin is so sensitive .....
Reply:RIT dye should be fine. Many mothers dye their cloth diapers and cloth wipes. Clothes already contain dyes on them as well, even newborn clothes. Just wash it again before giving it to as a gift or else it will bleed and ruin the rest of the things in her washer. And she will not be pleased!

Potato planning...?

I have an 8ft square in which to grow potatoes. I know it's not much room, but last year I did well with 3 double rows (1ft apart) of 7 tubers.

This year I have bought a collection pack: four tubers each of four varieties (early Arran Pilot, 2nd early Charlotte, 2nd early Kestrel and maincrop Cara).

What is the best way to fit the most plants into this space, while still keeping the varieties separate?

4 rows of 7? (at 2ft spacings; lots left over)

4 squares of 9? (at 1ft spacings, 2ft between varieties, only four left over)

Because it's such a small area, I don't need to walk between the rows at all.

To further complicate things, I'm about to receive 10 Yukon Gold as a free gift too, but I might just give them away unless anyone particularly recommends them...

Thanks for your help!

Potato planning...?
I have square foot gardened for a long time and it is awesome. You give the plant no more room than the plant is wide. It makes for barely any weeds, too. This just may be the solution for you. I don't know the ratio for potatoes, but here is the site to find out more. Good Luck, digging for potatoes is like a treasure hunt.....Fun, fun, fun!!!!

Reply:Have you ever tried old tires? Stack about 5 or 6, Fill with compost and soil and let them grow up inside the tires. They can be stacked right on the driveway with some drainage. Let you imagination go wild. Grow them any where. Sure is easy at harvest time. Remove the tires and collect the "tators"as they fall to the ground, no digging. I think the tires help a lot as it absorbs the heat of the sun and warms the soil. Moisture collects inside and keeps the soil at the right amount of water.Just watch the water as it could build up and stay too wet. You can drill holes or slit the tire for drainage. Watch heavy rain. With millions upon millions of used tires you shouldn't have a problem. You could also make a growing box out of wood with removable sides, I don't use pressure treated. I line the inside with a heavy construction plastic then add the soil

Why do we make are life so difficult and unhappy?
I have to agree with you, I don't know why people can't be happy living a simple life instead of wanting more and more. The harder you work and the more money you make does not buy happiness. Most of it goes for taxes anyway. Yes, we do have a choice to live a simple and easy life.
Reply:why live a long happy life? The real life is when it's full of interesting things, but short. That's what we learn at sociology in school.

For example I could have chosen to live in my natal town and have the same job as my mom and grandma had. But I prefer moving to another country to go to college when I finish highschool and become something like a pilot. And risk my life every day and have stress and live with the fact that I can crash anytime (or somethin like that)

That is because I want to evolve and become better that my ascendents. They maybe lived a happy life, but not a better one.people that had an unhappy life made the greatest achievments. like daVinci, Raffael, Einstein, Francisc, Nostradamus and some ppl I don't remember.

If you don't want to make something of your life that live it happily if you want
Reply:because it's sometimes worth all the trouble to have onew happy moment. i mean and people love you and all that s h i t. i mean it's kind of how you put your principles in order. if you are loved i wouldn't die just because life sucks because that will ruin every one else you know's life.

we do enjoy living. that's where you're wrong...well some of the time at least.

there was no system that we lived on and to quote kurt vonnugut "we're a nation addicted to fossil fuels and like any person about to face cold turkey; our leaders are killing to get their hands on the last of it."

we have always screwed everything up and if you're complaining about it now it's too late in the game...we're screwd over. totaly f u c k e d up foreever.

so my advice is live your life and follow the wiccan creed "an ye harm none; do ye will" which means "do whatever the hell you want just if you dont screw up anything too much."

Reply:where is the question its a wonderful answer you have given for ur own question if atall u feel u asked one go thro what u asked ur answer very clearly lies there
Reply:In America, we are on top of the world in terms of what we have. That means that we are in kind of an admistrative role in world society. In this role, we must take on a lot of stress to make sure that we stay on top.
