To repeat a ? askd by Jesus "what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his soul?

Many people do not truly understand the power of a soul. Why are people not mindful of their very own value? Today we see people willing to sell out for fame, money, power and greed. The old saying goes %26quot; you can%26#039;t take it with you%26quot; isn%26#039;t true. What you plant in this life will follow you through eternity. I am trying to understand why anyone would give up the gift of their soul for such a low price? Causing them to move on to eternal damnation. The soul has great power, we have been given the opportunity to change the world in wonderful ways, so where is the profit in this transaction for the soul? It is a poor business decision to sell something for far less a price than its actual value. No profit in selling your soul so give it back to the Creator and be amazed at what He can do with you!!!

To repeat a ? askd by Jesus %26quot;what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his soul?
Unbelievers are too focused on this life, they think this is all there is.

But to be fair even believers can be like that.

The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life%26#039;s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature. -Luke 8:14
Reply:seems like a twisted way of saying character vs materialism

oh well... it takes all kinds to make a world doesn%26#039;t it ....
Reply:The soul is not tangible it does not exist so id say anything you can get for it is great. The profit lies in both parties believing they have gained something. The truth is that it does not matter what you do with it because it is worthless and believing in it does nothing for me. It does however provide false comfort in the hearts of fools
Reply:Praise God!! If our life touches one person while we are here on earth and they see Jesus in us then our job on earth was done! God Bless!
Reply:Prove to me that I have a soul, and I will follow wherever you lead, even if that%26#039;s to point me to your particular view of a deity.
