Plz help me with my lucky bamboo?

my aunt gifted me recently a lucky bamboo....i used to change drinking water every week...and its in aircondition room...as per instruction given by my aunt....is that all enuf for my poor plant??i started loving it....i h8 to c it die...so jst instruct me b4 something happens

Only change the water if a leaf dies. then you have to clean the rocks too, all you need to do is keep it in sunlight and keep the water full. you can put a little bit of plant food in it. if you use the sticks. just drop it in the water, good luck. my sister has over a 100 bamboo and they are all doing well.
Reply:To help the plant grow strong, you can add water soluble fertiliser to the water once every 3 days, and if possible put the plant in the sun for half a day a couple of times a week. This will ensure the plant has nutrients to grow .
Reply:All I do with the two that we have is add extra water once a week.One of them we have had for 4years, the other my husband bought for me almost a year ago.Good luck!
